That's where the beauty lies, when you feel safe enough, held enough to let go.
Let go of the giving to everyone else (even if it's just for a short while). Let go of the endless list, plans and goals in your head, when your life feels chaotic on the outside you can find your calm within. Then you can re-emerge feeling lighter, spacious and just have more room for the good stuff.
Sometimes we lose our routines, holidays, the kids are off school, you're going through changes at work or in your life. It's in times like this with all the best intentions we can lose ourselves, our routines and what keeps us feeling calm.
You end up snapping at those closest to you, the little things feel like a big deal and you even shock yourself, the pressure of just getting through each day builds up till you lose it. I know, I've been there crying in the kitchen at tea time just at the thought of whats for tea (again).
So this mini immersion is designed to give you a little extra support when you need it. It's easy to follow, perfect to fit into your own life and rhythms. Whether you are away on a holiday, or at home all you need is to get comfy for 10 -30 mins, grab your headphones or just your phone and that's when the yoga Nidra Magic does it's thing so perfectly, in your messy imperfect life.

"So what is it exactly?

This is a science backed and deeply effective form of meditation that can reset your nervous system, change your biology and your chemistry with regular practise. You choose the place and the time to lay down and thats it! You lay in a comfy "rest nest", this can be at home, when you're on holiday, even travelling (maybe seated in a plane), get your phone, your headphones and listen. That's all! You're body does the rest there's no wrong way. It's ridiculously easy and for me my go to when I am already overwhelmed and have too much to do. There's nothing to "do" or "practise" or even think about here.
The recordings of specialist Yoga Nidra guided meditations take you off into a liminal place. That feeling when you're kind of awake but half asleep - this is a really significant state of consciousness which has tonnes of scientific research and ancient importance backing it up. You can choose a shorter 16 minute or longer 30minute recording whatever you have the time for on that day.
You will receive 2 Yoga Nidra recordings that you can listen to whenever you can -ideally building up repetition so your nervous system begins to feel familiar with them.
Along with a guide how to set up a 'rest nest' the principles behind Yoga Nidra, how science backs this up and ways to establish a practise that you can stick to.
There is also a movement meditation that you can use walking the dog or being outside.

"What do I need?"
The beauty of this mini immersion is you don't need much to begin to form a new habit and to feel the benefits of regular practise.
Once you place your order you will be given a password to enter the Calm in the Chaos landing page. Here you will have access to all the recordings, pdf and other little extras to support you. If you would prefer to have a digital download (if you're travelling, on holiday or away from wifi) this can be sent you to in an email.
You have lifetime access and listen anytime to help begin your practise.

Science shows that repetition is best so if you can dedicate yourself to listen to one of the recordings as much as you can that's a perfect way to begin. The shortest recording is 10mins then up to 30mins just depending on your day.

Who leads Calm in the Chaos?
Most of you know me but I'm Steph and you can trust me (I promise!). I have over 25 years of practising and living these Yoga Nidra and nervous system balancing techniques, for the last 10 years I have used these with women in my work in 1:1 sessions, therapies, retreats and circles.

My Why - I realised that A LOT of my clients are amazing. They are the women who are caring, have jobs that look after or manage others, they are mams, or yearn to be a mam. They are amazing at holding it all together. But in that "being amazing" there is always an underlying tension, chronic stress that sometimes is subtle (sometimes massive) that causes other symptoms. So I want to give those women a practise they can learn and do and feel good about in their own time, wherever they are.
