About Steph

I am a therapist and yoga teacher that cares. To care for others and assist in healing is a privilege. It's my passion to help others to find a settled mind and healthy body, in whatever way that may take.

My main aims in life are:
  • To spread kindness

  • To enable and encourage as many people as possible to discover joy and self-care

  • To help others enjoy our ridiculously precious life to the full!

I am a self-declared anatomy geek and have trained in functional anatomy, a range of therapies for specific women's issues, babies and children and I'm pretty certain I will always be dedicated to learning about whatever inspires me. I am an intuitive therapist and am fascinated with the person as a whole physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually.  I have been attuned in Reiki to Level 2 and find working with energy one of the most life changing and joyful experiences.

I have been practising yoga for over 20 years and feel privileged to be able to share the magic of yoga with others. For more info about my yoga journey see my interview here in Amala Teesside Yoga's blog!

"What a difference yoga has made. My back has strengthened so much. I can now do gardening without
pain. My posture is so much better, I look slimmer and most of all my mind is much clearer and am so
much more relaxed."
–Ruth F

Me and my family

I am a mam of four children and it's definitely a challenge to find time for self-care and to juggle everything in life and to feel like I'm giving everyone my best – including myself. I feel passionately about self-care, it's essential to love ourself first to enable us to love others, yet I also understand how hard this is.

My personal journey of motherhood and experience of four pregnancies, having IVF twice, birth, breastfeeding and adjusting post-natally has led me into learning as much as I can to support and empower other women in this crazy challenge of motherhood.

As a family we love animals and have quite a motley crew in our home, we also love going on adventures to connect to nature as much as we can in 'Barry' our camper van!
