about me
About Steph
I am a therapist that cares. To care for others and assist in healing is a privilege. It's through my constantly changing hormones, life and personal experiences that The Hive came to life. Like me and my ever changing life, body and family The Hive has changed over the 11 years.
I'd love to work with you if;
-
You are open, curious and are yearning for someone to just "get it"
-
You have tried everything, going to the doctors, the supplements, the programmes but you still know deep down you want to feel better.
-
You are ready to commit to yourself to make a change, (with me holding your hand along the way) you woke up today knowing that you deserve better and you don't want to just keep on "coping"
I am a self-declared anatomy geek and have trained in functional anatomy, a range of therapies for specific women's issues, babies and children and I'm pretty certain I will always be dedicated to learning about whatever inspires me. I am an intuitive therapist and am fascinated with the person as a whole physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. I have been attuned in Reiki to Level 2 and find working with energy one of the most life changing and joyful experiences.
I originally set up "The Yoga Hive" as I mainly taught yoga classes, then specialised in Pre-natal and Post Natal Yoga - luckily taking my own babies with me. As my family grew I became obsessed with learning about therapies and this took over from the yoga classes. I have been practising yoga and meditation for over 25 years and it's an integral part of my life. I feel so lucky that I get to share what I learn with others in a wide range of ways.

Me and my family
I am a mam of four children and it's definitely a challenge to find time for self-care and to juggle everything in life and to feel like I'm giving everyone my best – including myself. I feel passionately about self-care, it's essential to love ourself first to enable us to love others, yet I also understand how hard this is.
My personal journey of motherhood and experience of four pregnancies, having IVF twice, birth, breastfeeding and adjusting post-natally has led me into learning as much as I can to support and empower other women in this crazy challenge of motherhood.
As a family we love animals and have quite a motley crew in our home, we also love nature and connecting to the Wild!

Training History
I told you I was a bit obsessed!! I know if you are new to therapies this might not mean much to you so just see this as my CV - I keep it here to keep track of it all!
All you need to know is that I LOVE learning (as you can see) and all of this I share with my clients as they get the benefits.
